grr tvnz uses ad.doubleclick.net adverts as part of their video so I can't view it (it is spyware, so I've blocked it). tv3 wins again.

This person is pathetic, and is so drained with his own belief that the rest of NZ actually takes notice of what he attempts to explain. The training establishment must seriously re evaluate its training schedules.
His pathetic attempts of snide and somewhat childish remarks are very boring, even to non sports lovers. TVNZ are really scraping the barrel, and I guess the old adage applies with PH, in that any publicity is better than no publicity. Phoenix supporters and players alike don't need to worry as the best thing to do is to either ignore him or switch to a different channel. Maybe the ratings might improve, now that Jim Hickey is back - I wonder when Paul Holmes and Mike Hoskings will return [at least to get some decent journalistic comment back into perspective.

Yet every week Phoenix proove him wrong - he's just a jealous basturd.

"They're not winning" - prooves he doesn't know sh*t, as draws in soccer are great and especially for a FIRST SEASON.

All the news agencies are jealous like him, on Tv3 when they announced becks, they choose to run a news story on how some rate payers don't want to pay. Not the fact that he's coming.

Jealous basterds, jealous that Phoenix are actually doing stuff that the Knights never even thought of.

I don`t think Paul gives a sh*t about football full stop. Past, present or future. But i bet he loves the attention. Best ignore him.

It appeared at Saturdays game, i was the only one who started chanting  "Paul Henry's a w**ker, A w**ker" which got me some strange looks but I felt better about it. Telling the truth makes one feel that way!

The phoenix are like King Arthur, The Westpac Stadium is like his court and paul Henry is the Court Jester/Fool!!

If I had heard you chanting from my Aisle I'd definatly of joint in. If it gets down to about the 85th minute and we're winning that should be the chant to be. Michael2007-09-24 16:22:23

I'm off to hunt down Paul Henry! I need a few guys to help drive the tank though, anyone keen?

BTW, do you think he's just a very bitter ex-Knights fan who was upset they were so s**t and was even more hurt that they moved the license down here to us?

No chance.  I never saw him at a game, and lets be honest there were so few at some matches we all knew each other by first name.

How's my driving? - Whine here

I also couldn't catch his comments but the few times I've seen him on TV he seems to be a very strange man so why should we care what he thinks.  The Aucklanders struggle with our successful sporting events (they seem to hate us being good at entertainment), and little sour Paul is just one of the many small Aucklanders...

What else could he have done?

I work with a guy who knows him and he told me on Friday that everything we think of Paul Henry is pretty much on to it. A self centered, egotisical, sarcastic, jealous, bad sport & smart arse. He hates critism but is happy to dish it out, especially after he's cut you out so you can't defend yourself on the Radio. So I guess gutless is another of his fine qualities.

Get everyone to ring up his talkback line about the Phoenix when they reach the playoffs. Just bombard his airwaves with it.

Regarding my other thread about a Mascot, perhaps we should ask Pippa if she would be our mascot, if she won't Paul Henry would make a good one, we could throw water bombs at him!

Hi Michael, Don't drag us down to his gutter level - just switch to another channel, TVNZ will soon get the message

I'll pay $200 to any person that can get a big f**k off banner shown on TV that says

"Paul Henry, will you streak naked if the Phoenix make the playoff?"

lets see if he has the balls to put his money where his mouth is.

How would Pumpkin be a good mascot? Your dad doesn't love you but the rest of the country does?

Just what the whole world needs, and through FOOTBALL in Wellington, we can educate the rest of the world, without any protests, notwithstanding the National support. It sends a great, and loving message to everyone right across the network too

In hindsight it would be absoultely fantastic to think that if we could pull it off, what a great positive thing to happen given the negativity of PH and his boring input. Mind you Pumkin's interests would have to be guarded for obvious reasons

Maybe we could add Robbie Slaters name to it as well and kill two birds with one stone??
