Both TV3 and Prime were at the game last night and chatted with people... I'd try and catch both news broadcasts tonight to get an idea of just how f**king cold it was.  Oh, and for Phoenix coverage.

Jeez...the Phoenix must be real famous
Their first training game of the season and two TV channels their.
Hope we don't get the  normal negative " phoenix off to a bad start, can only draw against local 11 "

"Phoenix fail in freezing conditions" - my bet is that'll be the headline.  They don't tend to be too fussed about giving the whole picture so long as they get a nice bit of alliteration in there.

There was nothing on Prime about the Phoenix.  However, there was a short interview with Ricki about Neslen's injury and unavailability for the Confed Cup.

Yeah, Daniel's goal was quite good but our other goal should have been saved by the looks of it.

Good interviews with Krishna and Coralles, the bits I understood anyway.

I haven't paid much to it  but why can we only have one of them? is it cause we already have are limit for outside players

Partly because we have a certain number of gaps and need a keeper, 2 U21 players, striker cover and possibly a centre back.

Shame they didn't show the Smith Selecao goals.

Good goal from Daniel - time for him to step up to the plate this season IMO.

Sorry chaps ... the focus of the story tonight was Corrales v Krishna, the result was neither here nor their really.

Probably best we didn't show Welly's second goal anyway ...

Oh, I don't know... the scorer is an occasional poster on here, he'd have loved it.

Who was the other trialist that scored with a header at the very end of the clip?

Very nice PSV-PVC gag Gourdie.  You could write for Park Life with form like that.

Highlight of the clip is Allen Chote showing off his well-honed post-marking techniques with a clearance off the line.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
