Fair enough comment, Piney. Unfortunately bad news is good news for the media. Stick a negative story on the front page and more people pick up the paper/click on the link. Such is the economic imperative of the media. Personally the stories I like to write most are those where I get to meet an incredible regularly person doing remarkable things. A lot journos I meet feel similar. We're not all heartless muckraking scum!

It would not be professional of me to comment on the Dom Post's coverage of this story, but I agree that the great work the team does around the country for charities and such, as well as Terry's dedication to football in this country, may not always get the coverage it deserves. But then I would say that, because I'm Nix till I die!
