Good chat between Matt Gunn and Andy Harper. Mostly about the
Aus bid for the WC (yeah Right) but an excellent commentary on the
game there vs the game here.

The problem with Radio Sport is that everytime you turn it on,
there is some bore droaning on about the All Blacks losing some
game recently in some low-profile tournament/how it would never
have happened in days of Lochore and Meads/how
professionalism has ruined the game/that the players have no
pride/how we need to return to the grassroots.......
When they do talk football, they complain when nobody
rings in. That's because the football fans either been
driven off somewhere else or have been reduced to a mindless
stuphor by the preceding six hours
of dross.
Get over it. Rugby is so yesterday.

Agreed. Often i tune in hear them talking something rugby
related, switch channels. Tune in again 6 hours later and they're
just talking about the same thing. Need more variation and less
rugby idiots.

Just listened, they should talk to that bloke more often, made a
lot of sense and didn't bash rugby too much, just the politicians.
that is the kind of talk that helps us and doesn't marginalize
everyone else. well done Matt Gunn.

It was a great interview... just remember those positive thoughts
next time we have to listen to Harper on a commentary like the CCM
vs Victory one.
