Dutch football star Ruud Gullit is being named as a candidate for the new coach of the LA Galaxy.
It seems David Backham suggested his name as one of the contenders for the job.
Will we see two world football superstars in Wellington next month?
Adam Brown will like that one I suppose?
Being a Chelsea fan.
Gullit is keen to return to coaching according to a Duch news paper.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

It means Beckhams an illiterate Londoner, which he is!

Now Ruud Gullit, he IS a world superstar, used to love watching him play.
Id go to the Galaxy game if he was playing, but not johnny one foot Beckham.

Dont get me wrong, I rate Beckham but not to the degree of attention that he gets.

Meanwhile Ruud Gullit has become the new coach of the Galaxy.
However he will start in march next year his wife will be there too.
She has the Posh Backham style, she is the niece of Duch Super star John Cruyff.

Regardless, I will go to the Galaxy game.
It's something not seen in this country yet.
Good on you Terry!

I'm not really a Beckham fan but I reckon it's great that he's coming here.  I'm a relatively (some may say seriously) old guy now but I can still remember seeing Pele play for Santos in Sydney in a game like this when I was 9.  And that was in 1971 or 1972.  Beckham's not in the same league in terms of skill, but he certainly is in terms of hype, and inspiration for the young players.  I hope he scores 1 and we get 2 or more!

Yes, we're all want to see Backham score from a free kick don't we?
Buy the way I find the speed of the A-league game resonable fast.
You will find when the new generation players who grew up watching the A-league and having played football all there lives have even more skill in playing the ball around quickly.
