Hello, not sure if this is the right sub-forum or not (I'm sure someone will tell me) but it is kind of media-related.

I am looking to clear out a whole wardrobe of back issues of old Sitter! fanzines, and am offering a sample of four editions for $12 (incl postage) to anyone interested.

For those unaware, Sitter! was New Zealand's only national football (soccer) fanzine, published from 1995-2004 - back in the day when the code was uncool here, and we were sh*t.

As the blurb used to say, it was "for serious fans, not puddings and toss pots" and unlike other sports publications, unashamedly designed for fans rather than administrators, players or sponsors.

It agitated, informed and entertained with biting humour, incisive analysis, and forthright if not downright defamatory opinion. Despite its notoriety it was also a literary landmark and at various times was celebrated as the NZ Soccer Media's Publication of the Year (2000) and as 4-4-2 magazine's winner of the inaugural Fanzine World Cup in 1998.

A genuine collectors item. There has never been anything quite like Sitter! before or since in New Zealand.

Anyway, if you want 4 back issues posted, email me at cordwainerbull@gmail.com and I'll give you payment instructions.

Boat drinks, Cordwainer

Park Life's inspiration.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I still have an old Sitter! mag lying around my room somewhere. Had some great yarns about Tafea beating Napier City with illegal players and how good Dennis Ibrahim is.

Three for me, and two for them.
