The study is being conducted by the Australian Sports Commission in partnership with the CSIRO and the Australian Institute of Sport.
Dr Stefan Hajkowicz is the theme leader of CSIRO Futures, and he says the team looked at six major "mega-trends" that are going to reshape the sports landscape over the next thirty years.
