Full marks to the Sunday News for a back page photo of Felipe and substantial match report. Great to see.

I couldnt find the match report on line (but its in the tabloid copy). But John M please note that we have settled on the RING OF FIRE as the alternative name for the stadium. We even ran a poll and RING OF FIRE came home comfortably ahead of the competing options - which included 'The Nest'.

John Matheson's article re NZ's access to Fifa tournaments is a v important one and deserves its own thread (which i will get to later). In the meantime you can read here - http://www.stuff.co.nz/sundaynews/4211622a19778.html

Star-times also did a top job - and even dedicated column inches to Yellow Fever's rise as a political force. Pat on the back for Steve Kilgallon - http://www.stuff.co.nz/4211775a18075.html

Thanks to my own self-enforced boycott of the Herald on Sunday I can't comment on its performance this week (it has occured to me this will make it rather difficult for me to determine as to when, if ever, my boycott should be lifted). hmmm?? Based on recent form, however, I am relatively confident the ban is warranted for the meantime. It is important the impact of my withdrawn custom is given time to flow through to APN's financial bottomline. That should ultimately drive a shift in editorial focus.

Looking forward to the Sports news tonight and tomorrow's Dom Post.

The dom also deserves credit for having sent Fred Woodcock to China. Ultimately, a disappointing tournament for the Ferns - but shows the DP is taking football seriously. Great

I'm not sure Steve K was actually there given he mentions Beltrame three times in his match report when Bajic was the Adelaide 'keeper....

might have just been that he was at the game, but was with the boys in the fever zone, and he can't actually remember anything.

Excellent round up of the news Marius. The herald actually had a very good (and longer than usual) article. I refuse to pay money for the Herald too, but occasionally check their website out in the hope there sports news has something other than rugby...

I wrote a message to stuff.co.nz when I saw that lol. Was it printed identical to how it is on stuff in the Sunday Star Times? Not only did he get Beltrame/Bajic mixed up - the ref's name was wrong and he referred to Diego as "Walsh" (yes - it is his last name - but have you ever read it anywhere else?).

A for effort E for execution.

"I've also heard reports about another talented Brazilian at the club. George who has been out injured is apparently even better than Felipe and will be available for selection from this week.

If the rumours about his ability are true it will be a mouth-watering prospect." Malcolmson column

interesting?

Looking forward to the Sports news tonight and tomorrow's Dom Post.

Congratulations on  and recording your media reports.

Its a extremely important task as positive media space is  important nay essential  for the game to gain credibility from the average Joe in the street. Also suggest if you can look at media reports that are inaccurate or go looking for mob fight.

Suggestion  create a link in Yellow Fever with email addresses of radio, TV, Newspaper key personalizes who comment on sport and news generally. When they go overboard then email them in mass objecting to BIAS reporting maybe non reporting or putting it four pages from back page after the netball. Email if possible without to many insults as they just delete them. Essentially hold people responsible for their actions.

Image if you will a NZ Herald reporter doing a nasty story (would never be a herald reporter) on football. Imagine if over the next week the papers editor and the journo got 4 or 5 thousand emails would clog up their servers and their work. Maybe after a dozen or maybe four dozen times the message will start to get through.

WE ARIENT GOING TO TAKE IT,

NO WE ARIENT GONNA TAKE ANYMORE.

Hold the faith let the revolution begin nay continue and grow louder and stronger

NZ Herald still has a link to the NZ Knights site.

On clicking it, you get the Phoenix official site.
Which neatly sums up their attitude to the sport.
