I'd probably agree with that.  How hard would it have been for Worthington to give Gareth Morgan a ring and say 'hey, saw you at training, what was that all about?'.  Not very, but even easier to interview your typewriter and produce a sensationalised non-story.  And with the reaction he got in the wider media, he had great success.  And so it goes.
