Another great effort from TV3 tonight. Led the sports news with a story about the Fijian visa fiasco and its implications for NZ football, particularly the possible loss of the Fifa U17 Women's World Cup.

THis visa policy is totally flawed in design and having the
reverse outcome to that intended - ie punishing NZ, particularly NZ
footballers, rather than Fiji. It looks like we have already lost
one AW's home fixture and the U17 World Cup is in jeopardy - not to
mention the massive potential financial losses for NZ Football
(totally out of their control). The Government better sort this out
or YF is going to get awfully grumpy.
As an aside, Andrew Gourdie is beginning to stake a strong
claim for football broadcaster of the year. Although not formally
announced yet, YF will be polling members for our inaugural
football media awards at the end of the Phoenix season. There will
be multiple categories - so start keeping an eye out for your
favourites.

I reckon it would be good to have separate categories for print, radio and tv
TV3 have generally impressed, but as someone noted yesterday TV 1 can come up with the goods from time to time
Hard to go past The Phoenix hour as far as radio goes
early day's yet, let's hope the media continues its gradual increase in coverage

another outstanding tv3 effort tonight. big item on becks match,
elrich interview and then extended champs league highlights
and that comes hot on the heels of their investigative piece

yep tv 3 have surpassed the tv 1 effort again!
i expect tv 1 will lift their game closer to the Galaxy game -to promote their coverage
