funny stuff, from the bbc online

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed David Beckham is close to training with the Gunners during the Los Angeles Galaxy's close season.

Beckham will need to prove his fitness ahead of Fabio Capello's first game in charge of England against Switzerland on 6 February at Wembley.

"We will help him to get fit and prepare for the season," Wenger told BBC Radio 5 Live.

"There's a good chance that he will come in January, but it's not decided." <!-- E SF -->

Arsenal's training ground at London Colney is within an easy commute from Beckham's Hertfordshire home.

The 32-year-old's last game for the Galaxy was a friendly against the Wellington Hurricanes in New Zealand at the start of December.

Ha ha.  Imagine the Galaxy actually playing the Hurricanes...that would be amusing.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Typical media not doing research properly

They would have googled Wellington Football and come up with Hurricanes.

Rugby = Football in NZ unfortunately. Kind of like AFL in Aussie.

Everybody chill.

So that's how journalists do their research is it??
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.
