ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH

What a load of arse.
 
Espc when Dennis says the A-league is a better level than the SPL and  Bundaslega 2 based on average attentence... Look at the size of the countries.

Dennis is a muppet, I've said that a number of times.

Didn't hear the Bundesliga comment, but that's really strange if true, given that Bundesliga has the best average attendance out of all the leagues in the world.

Think he said Bundesliga 2 but that said you can't judge the quality of the league on the crowd size.

Mmmmm. . . .SPL have big crowds especially for the main teams like celtic and rangers not totally sure about the other clubs at the bottom of the table for the average attendances tho and the australian stadiums are bigger I think. I can sort of believe that Bundaslega 2 is less crowd number because they are smaller clubs and stadiums.

I think that Dennis is just a bit optimistic about the A-league. Not really a bad thing, just a bit skew.AllWhitebelievr2008-01-23 00:23:01

Yeah, but only a muppet would claim that any league is better than another based on attendances. Following that to it's logical conclusion would probably mean that Melbourne are up to EPL standard.
 
Most SPL sides outside the big two would struggle to reach our average attendance!

Yes but Hibs and motherwell would beat 3rd and 4th in the a-league

Not quite true; just see some of the clubs playing in Bundesliga 2:

1860 Munich (play at Allianz Arena, draw crowds of 50,000+ for Bundesliga 2 games)

Borussia Moenchengladbach, Kaiserslautern, Cologne, Alemmania Aachen, Mainz, St. Pauli, Freiburg, are all clubs with very big following in Germany who play in very nice stadiums of good size, so I'm just completely dumbfounded by Dennis' comment.

At least he's positive about it though. Better than the dirty aussie coach, who slammed the quality of the league. In a position like his that's completely irresponsible, especially considering the growth in the popularity of the league and the history of football in Aus and NZ. A commentator for one of the games last week said the average A-League crowds are almost equal with the average rugby league crowds in Aus now. If that's true, that's an amazing achievement in three seasons!
