Have joined this site. Impressive really considering how long it has been run. I say, stand up if you're Phoenix! And well done everyone who takes an active roll on here. It's our input that keeps it going - awesome stuff.

(btw - didn't u used to have a player called Rodney Marsh? Where did he get to?)

Jesus! Your going back a bit aint ya. He was a manager for a bit wasnt he? In USA? Wasn't very successful i dont think

He was one of thee top players for the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the old NASL, just about the only team that gave the New York Cosmos a hurry up.

here's a question for us oldies, was it Rodney Marsh or Stan Bowles who won a bet by knocking the Fa Cup off a pitch side table during a match in the 70s??

to be honest I can't say for sure who it was, but it sounds very much like a Stan Bowle's thing to do,

I remember Chris Simpkin getting a yellow for sitting on the ball during a Hull city reserve game
