I feel a bit daft talking about rugby a game I know little, and care even less, about,

but i wonder if france beat the all blacks due to their cunning plan to send their c team over here earlier this year (they even out-rotated graeme henry with that plan)

they didn't expose their strengths and played into the (NZ) media's talent for jingoism, hype, and lack of analysis, the all blacks may have believed their own press and jacque's your uncle, au revoir to the fake world cup

or it's all crap and who really cares

For a code I've never really cared about I've invested a fair bit emotionally in this team over the years, and nearly always been let down. For people who are true believers it must be totally devastating in a horribly familiar way...

After the game this morning I just felt contempt for the All Blacks as a sporting entity.

Why are people f**king on bout scotland being there longer than the ABS ?? they are still only in the quarter finals..

The look on some of the ABS faces after the game was.... horrible.. you HAD to feel for them

Yep they are the best in the world when it comes to playing second rate teams or teams that have been weakened by for what ever reason.BUT when the pressure goes on time and again they fail and for that reason i cant see why they keep getting called best in the world..Even our only world cup came when South Africa wernt allowed to play.

Yeah, on paper they probably are the best team in the World. Unfortunately for them, you don't play rugby on paper, you play it on grass. Problem is that every time they have the chance to prove they are the best team in the World, they f**k it up. Time and time and time again.

If the ABs don't win the 'home' RWC in 4 years' time, maybe they should try their hand at an even more minority sport to try to become World champions. Cup stacking or something along those lines could do the trick

Just a point to ponder, why do people who post in here, and who's number 1 sport is Rugby and favourite team is the AB's, give stick to others who choose to support the 'Nix and football over both of these? Bit pointless really. Vent your spleen on a rugby site if you want but don't give grief to those who choose to differ from you.

What's sight without sound? Love without peace? Copulation without conception?

There is not much point blaming the ref, sure he was crap, but you have to expect a referee to be against you every now and then, there is nothing you can do about it. Northland got shafted a few times in the Air NZ Cup this year, but me moaning about it isn't going to change the result. To be honest, even as a fan of rugby (mostly Northland) I will be glad to stop hearing about it. Now I'm looking forward to the Kiwis in the Rugby League and the football...and cricket season starting up. There are more important things on at the moment than the All Blacks getting done by France.
