A new Barbers in Wellington

I'm looking for a new Barbers opened in Wellington recently. It is run by Chris and John formally of Norris Barbers off Lampton Quay. A pint if anyone can tell me where their new place is.

Not girly hairdressers, barbers, man, barbers!

Specifically Chris and John who worked at Norris. I've seen some of the Fever in there and Chris would take in a few games at the Ring of fire, so someone must have and idea where they've opened up.

Clippers from Briscoes will set you back only $20 and last 3 years of haircuts.

Granted, they won't ask if you would like "Something for the weekend, sir?"

There's a good place on the Terrace for $12 clippercuts.  Not a barber but.

^ This.

On the plus side they won't ask you if you're going on holiday this year, if you saw the rugby or talk about the weather

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Which is the one Terry went to (which turned out to be rather an expensive haircut four years on)?

I go to custom cutz for that exact reason. Less awkward chatting, more hair cutting.

Allegedly

How about when dentists ask you a question when your mouth is full of expensive and painful machinery and their fingers?

Crazy eh?  Go in wanting a no. 2 on the top, no. 1 around the sides and end up with a root canal.

I normally just ask the wife to do that for me when I'm taking the clippers to my hair. Sometimes she even says yes.

Grow hair enough to rock the 60's 'Don Draper' look. And add in 2 button light grey

Best $12 I've spent on a haircut. Might have to get a regular trimming each week.

Worse still, a dentist i went to a few years back seemed to think talking about his latest import of Champagne would distract me as he extracted a tooth with incredible force.

Naturally I went elsewhere for subsequent visits.

He was probably thinking about the next case of champagne he would get from your visit.

I know a good hairdresser if you need a filling...

Ok Ok Ok  I'm on to you lot !
Ha!The subtle reference to Terry's epiphany at the hairdressers.
Your talk about "the new hairdresser" =a new owner.
"extracting teeth"=painful transition from current ownership.
"in the wallet to use later" = new funding and ownership in place.
" case of champagne at your next visit" = all sorted to celebrate by next season.
It's all SECRET CODE!....watch this thread for what's really happening..but don't tell the DP!

My dads friend hadn't been to a dentist in like, 10 years or something, and he also went to a hygenist, and she worked on cleaning his teeth for more than an hour, but she had other patients, and he had to come back again.

Let this be a lesson.
Always go to the dentist.

"I owe you a pint" = we thought we had some canny signings this season but most of them were actually not very good at all.  We'll try a bit harder for next season.
