A certain well known gang have shown up. No doubt they will muscle their way to the front.

And as an added surprise, the smell of dope if rife!
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

The toilets in the railway station seemed to have become unisex, either that or they cant read the signs on the doors.

Upper hutt has moved to wellington for the weekend!

Contrary to visual perception, they were actually females.

Why do you need to be at the front?  You can hear it in Island Bay.

I can't believe how old they are! Still it was an amazing show. I stood next to a 60 year old bogan headbanging  lady who smoked weed all night............

NZD$160 AC/DC.... versus...

AUD$99 Iron Maiden...

Absolutely no contest - thankfully I didn't pay $160 to see last nights show.

Good, not great. Maiden kick their Aussie* arses.

Good crowd, too much dope - too many dopes

*recognising they've spent the best part of their adult lives NOT living in Aussie, and the lead singer's a Geordie!

* and the fact that both Young brothers were born in Scotland.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Now THAT was amazing. Lots of bogans, yes, but most of them were all there to just enjoy the experience, not mosh everyone to death!

Was talking to a guy a few weeks ago who lives down there and knows him. Telling me some great stories about him.

It's a formula that works, and they do it f*cking well...

150 - 200 mil + in album sales, including the 2nd highest selling album of all time, is a pretty decent track record.

200 million bogans can't be wrong.

Still, you're right though, would be a pretty sweet gig...

it was pretty cool thought it was going to come out along the stage but it just stayed in the middle and the big screen split in 2 with the train in between had a video of speeding train for the intro to the song, later on for a whole lotta rosie they had a big blowup rosie straddling the train and tapping her foot to the music

i see there is some footage on you tube probably a lot more in the next few days

I thought they (AC/DC) were going to enter the stadium on a train or something? Perhaps it was just an idea at the start of planning. :l

they kinda do Michael. I don't want to ruin it for anyone going to the next two shows but I thought it was quite a cool entrance!

thinking the crowd need to get an angus chant or a we love you angus , going when he is nearing the end of yet another ripping guitar solo,he plays that guitar like a man possessed and pretty much owns the crowd while doing it

well, during the guitar intro to 'whole lotta rosie' you're supposed to chant "Angus.....Angus!" and i started to do that on thursday but no one else nearby knew what I was on about!

need a larger group of people to get it started then rest would join,a few times people did not seem to know what to chant or sing, they all knew thunderstruck pretty well.

I thought it was the best stage show I've ever seen. Amazing visual show. Sound was quality and like someone said before, Angus owned the crowd. That man is a legend.
My only disappointment was that they didn't do Are you Ready, Money Talks or Long way to the top.
Was very tempted to go again tonight.

I got right up front for this one, in the corner between stage and runway. It was intense down there!
Some extremely undesirable people in there I must say.

Was well worth it though to see Brian and Angus that close. Was amazing!
