No I'm not on about the morning after 10 summit beers and a couple of Daniel Burgers. I'm talking about the program on the telly. I reckon if anything if the quake is that big it will be worst than was portrayed. I certainly reckon looting will be far more of a problem.
So how prepared are you?
Me and Vickmeist not too bad. Sort of lower league Bear Gryllsises, (complete with Desert Storm. Hmmm that thread should never have been closed...)

Didn't see the first one but watched the one on Thursday night, let the boys watch it with us just so they could kind of get an understanding what might happen....

I these sorts of panic situations they always reccommend that women and children go first but I reckon that Hard News has enough meat on him to feed the city for a while!!!

Scariest part of the entire movie was when they said the government moved to Auckland

I once drank 6 aftershocks as part of a 12 hour bender, and woke up with a girl who looked quite a bit like Hard News.
For that reason, I'm out.
All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Anyone know what prompted them to use the Wairarapa fault rather than the Wellington Fault as the source of the big one?
I wondered if showing massive lateral / vertical movement would be too difficult, so conveniently using the Wairarapa fault line might tuck that away?

I guess the West Wairarapa Fault had a history of moving, last time in 1855 in a big way.

True enough, but also why the Wellington Fault might have been a better punt: isn't it's recurrence interval 400 years? - which we've passed (not that that means a great deal)!

Just a few sites for those interested:
http://www.survive-it.co.nz/
http://beprepared.com/
http://www.kiwidisposals.co.nz/
For all your survival needs. I'm not a great fan of the human race but I want the Fever to survive an earthquake/zombie invasion.
Question: does the BB/Kings still take the fever card after/during an earthquake?
hmmm links not working
EDIT : Fixed to help FT's Noobness.

Not everyone is as sharp as you Frankie. Just accept your genius and let them catch up at their own speed...

We're all quite safe, the BIG one will not happen in the Wellington Region - Any potential earthquake needs a resource consent and after being f**ked around by the regional council and the local council/s concerned, the potential Earthquake will throw in the towel out of frustration & surrender to the beaurocracy and we'll become an Earthquake free area.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!
