Actually - semi-serious question here: Is there much difference between Vancouverites and Seattleites?

Have always wanted to go to BC and Vancouver esp. Absolutely love Seattle - place and the people.  It is a very cosmopolitan and accepting city.

Rural Nth Californians can GGF.

I've never actually been to the West Coast, so am of little help with that one.  Have heard good things about Seattle being very cosmopolitan.  We've had fun chats with their visiting fans at TFC games. Overall there are massive difference between Americans and Canadians in general. The gun thing being one,the whole healthcare thing, us being Commonwealth, them thinking us "socialists" etc etc.
Most Canadians are totally perplexed by the gun thing in the US. They seem to think the answer to the gun problem is more guns. Ok then....

Do you guys get mixed up with Australians much?  We were over in Europe last year, and kept being called "Americans" drove us totally nuts. The other day someone asked us if we were still thinking of moving to "Australia" next year. We've only ever talked about moving to New Zealand, so no idea where the Australia thing came from.
