Every year more than 2,000 dolphins are killed at Taijai among the 23,000 mammals slaughtered in a hunt that lasts six months.
- that's on some scale...

As for TVNZ's line that it's TOP SECRET, the hunt happens EVERY year and has done for, wait for it, several centuries.
