Did anyone out there go to either one of the Guns n Roses gig on the weekend or going to the one in CHCH?? A few of my mates went but I couldnt make it, just wandering how it went...

Even if it aint the WHOLE, original gunners.

My mate told me Robert Finck butchered the solo to "Patience"bungrightknee2007-07-03 02:48:59

I went to the Friday night in Auckland. Really only went to see Rose Tattoo, who were magic, but GnR were good. They didn't come on stage till nearly midnight but did about 2 hours worth. Good gig.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Many years ago before GNR were "big" I went to see them at a promo gig. The gig was set up for  some record company people. After about twenty monutes, at most, me and my mate Mark left. I thought they were &*^*&%^ and would be lucky to ever sell a RECORD/CD....

Got that right didn't I?
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I went to the Auckland gig on Friday night, got up to within 3 rows from the front and was absolutely exhausted after 2 hours, was pretty drunk by the time they came on at midnight so the memory is abit blurred, but from what I can remember it was fricken awesome, one of the best concerts I have been to, sooo many cool songs and they played them all which was great. Axel was showing his age abit his voice wasn't the best we've heard and he looked abit chubby plus the guy who replaced slash wasn't much chop but all in all I loved it.
