looking for a cheap runabout, work has just let us know that anyone found using the vehicle outside of work will be automatically suspended. So hence need a car to get around now .

not looking for anything flash but then again not looking for a sh*tter.

I'd say you have to spend about $3-4k to get something decent. And if you want something a little better i.e. with Air Bags and not 150k+ on the odometer, more than $4k. But you might be able to grab a bargain if you spend time searching cars on trademe and look around.
