you need to get a video to ipod converter. they are easy enough to download on the net but most are just trial versions.
the software i use is called cucusoft converter suite. its available for purchase online (or at least was, ive heard rumours that they have shut down). hope this helps

Whats the file type of the video that you are trying to put on?

Yeah, you need an iPod video converter. I use ImTOO Ipod converter, you just put the video into that program and you want to make it into 80g format then it will save it then just add it to iTunes.
