I don't know who it is.  That is the ingress name (or so I am told - I don't play myself)

Guess your friend are assuming it refers to the Nix rather than the other Yellow Fever meanings?

speaking of which - any other Igress players in YF? I spend almost as much time playing as sleeping these days - even when at gigs

Resistance (blue) all the way...

I can't go anywhere these days without playing obsessively and plan journeys/routes around portals

so I've been meaning to get into this for a while. This thread finally made me remember to get round to it

Went green and just found out my mate is number one blue in this region. Guess we're not mates anymore?

Hey Tegal

I can't rave about this game enough tho it's a serious time waster but least you get out and about heaps as have to walk tons to really level etc. It's highly social too as both factions have boards and out in Porirua/Whitby/Plimmerton we have regular Resistance bar-b-ques and when we do a big attack it takes multiple players running all over Wellington (and often lower North island) all co-ordinated to get the huge fields/points

Also I played this in Sydney and in Rarotonga when over there and its easy to hook up with locals through the game and gets you round all kinds of interesting spots. And when they have world wide events (NZ was lucky enough to have Christchurch picked as a location this last month) people fly in from all over and its a huge big Google co-ordinated battle - emphasis on teamwork

I joined blue Sept last year tho knew nothing about it then discovered the only mates I know who already play it are green so we just don't talk about it or play together... tho I did threaten one of them I'd thump him if he smashed my Bodega portal when we were drum & bassing one night lol
