Balancing Football with FT Employment and Study...

I am undertaking some Online study through OTEN TAFE NSW to "further my career" starting in Mid October and I am wondering how I will strike a balance between work, study, family and football. I have already taken the initial step of standing down from my position as Retail Manager to a Retail Assistant role which means I will only be working 38hrs per week instead of 45hrs.

Any other advice anyone?

C-Diddy I did 20+hours a week work, on top of a fulltime uni load, while managing/coaching a footy team & playing & training myself, and social sport 2 nights a week. Pretty much man the f*ck up, get on with it, and you'll be sweet

In all seriousness that lifestyle meant a B- average when it could have been an A (just like I coulda gone pro with the Nix but I didn't like Ricky's mo...)...basically look at where your time is going, and figure out what you can cut out for the sake of study & go for it! Time management is the key, and the forum/facebook/watching footy can frequently get in the way of work and study, so figure out what's most important, and work around that.

I remember the time out from these forums you took. the arsenal pages were eerily quiet.

Mate the emotional anxiety of giving you a starting spot each week was hard enough...remember Rich's box of hell? It was all for my own personal pay back on you!

@ UG....yup...

Your boys this year HATED you for the box. Only anxious because you had to watch me play at standards you could barely dream of.

What standards? Waddle around trying Ronaldo tricks and getting my legs kicked out? Please...i'm the one who's banged in 2 40 yard FK's this season! And no matter what you've got to say Oska i'll take it, because your mum made up for all of it

Uncalled for Rich, if I was so rubbish why did you start me every week and give me MVP?

I work part time, mind my kids part time, and study off campus part time.

Buggered if I know how I manage it, to be honest.

You can be happy later. Right now you should be setting aside a couple of weekday nights to knock off as much as possible before the weekend.
And when that day comes when you've finished, what would you rather have? More of the same or something better?
