Any tournaments planned over the summer break in Wellington ?

Great fun Beach football. Would be dead keen to play some games. Alternative Fever kick around perhaps ?

there has been a tournament 3 years running- though run by two different crews- Sportzone (member ) will know whats up, it will be part of the WCC Summer City programme

good fun-but a beach like Waikanae would be the goer I reckon, or even Scorching Bay

Don't know from which team but someone scored a brilliant bicycle kick goal, was magic.

would be keen for some beach football.

Me and few mates always go for a play down at Otaihanga domain, it's good place, recommend it. Also a nice field up river too.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

I think remember that game wasn't it against man united in a 3-3 draw? I certainly remember the goal that wasn't. Overhead, almost a sissor kick.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I like the idea of Beach soccer as an alternative.
Me, 2ndbest and Greene went to a little informal one for a while. Interesting to say the least. Football Volley ball was even more interesting.
Raf popped down a couple of time too.. How I miss summer..

We had a normal ball. which turned into sand paper when it got wet. and some of the guys made little wooden goals.

A couple of summers back me and some mates would go down to Oriental Bay a few times a week and play, terrific times.
