Best Junior Team Names

What were the best junior teams called that you played in?

We were for 2 years the Miramar Young Guns after the cricket team.  The players rose up and we then had a vote between the Bulldogs (coach and his son) and the Street Hawks (the rest of us 10 year olds).

The Street Hawks were victorious - even though I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a Street Hawk.

My cousin was also in a team called the "Robins" - unsurprisingly they were terrible.

Any other great or terrible names?

Streethawks are definitely tougher than Nighthawks - but the fact Nightawks are in Naenae probably edges it

Karori Hornets. We were decent. Karori Bears were pretty formidable as contained Marius and Elliott

Played junior football in Taupo where the teams were all named after European teams. First played for Millwall aged 8, then Thistle, Wimbledon, Liverpool (twice) and Bayern Munich.

That is very common in the US where junior clubs buy the rights to use a pro clubs name.  We recently played against Solar Chelsea. Amusing.

I had Karori Forest too - due to the coach being a Nottingham fan

We had a social team called 'crabshack and co' at uni.
We won 3 seasons in a row and our keeper was our 3rd top scorer.
