Brag or moan about your storm damage

I'm in Kelburn, we didn't have any.

Though it was very windy.

Here in K-Town (Sarf an all) we got some flickering lights.  But the storm knew better than to come onto our manor and try and mug us off.

A big branch from the big tree at KNS did snap off partially though.

got to work this morning to find the 4 bay farm shed had its roof ripped off, had blown up the bank and crashed into one of the greenhouses.

the road to work was blocked for a few hours as well as a huge gum tree had been ripped out of the ground and fell across the road.

this was in wanganui.

Fence next to my building came down (very loud!) and landed on my car. Looked fucked but on closer inspection today just tore off the rear spoiler and a few small dents and scratches. Large fence, could've been much worse. 

Big ups to the three guys walking past who held it up so I could move the car out! Good to see people still care, as it was pissing down and a fair bit of effort.

Still no power... just saw contractors in the street though...

Without power for around 16 hours. Also had to use a bolt cutter and hacksaw to chop down the tv aerial before it damaged the roof as it was hanging by one bolt and the cable. The sky dish stayed up  though. So the loss of the aerial no biggy.

My god.  The sky has turned blue and it's warm outside.

...and the air isn't full of falling water.

Has the world turned mad?  Is this a sign of the end?

I might wander out and have a look at this "sun" that people talked about.

Came home to Napier after a cheeky mid winter break in stormy Wellington to find the tree over the back neighbours fence is gone!

Wasn't blown down but removed professionally by arborists!
