Hello lovelies,
I'm lookin for an automobile for my poor student self so if you know anyone selling one thats not a piece of crap (by piece of crap I mean one that is about to die, I'm quite happy to drive a piece of crap with a bit more life in it) please let me know. Obviously being a student I have no money so lookin (hoping) to spend no more than $2500.
Men who know stuff about cars are welcome to take me car shopping as all I'll ask about is the colour.

try the auctions you can get good deals on decent cars they have budget auctions mid week in the hutt
or you could try the roadside sales by mirimar wharf or in kenepuru or anywhere else there's good cars for around $1500 - $3000
i'm sure you'll have no prob's finding someone to help you out

Car of the Gods. I restored a couple of old Minis when I lived in Welly. I was even geeky enough to be in the Minis of Wellington Owners Group 
My wife never understood that it wasn't about the money, and that I knew I'd never get back what I'd spent on them. Women!
