I am fed up with people moaning about Cambo not winning
lately. He is still our greatest golfer and a proud
ex-student of Mana College. He is also a great bloke who is a
joy to meet. We have one of his signed shorts hanging at the
College.

I'm a big Cambo fan but have to say his form this year has been horrid. He's a confidence player and thats what is lacking at the moment. But once he gets it back...then lookout.

Mike still has plenty of victories left in him. I'm ex-Mana I
enjoyed the reunion @ Easter. Good to see they are honouring the
pupils that have become successful. I think they missed a few
though. Keith (Buzzer) MacKay played for the All Whites @ World Cup
in '82. Tommy Heptinstall Wellington property zillionair and
ex-National League player for plenty of clubs. Garry Knight front
row for ABs in flour bomb test. Rob Kelliher captained Wallabies a
long time ago. Leonie Patterson women's basketball

Not everone responded to our invitation to join the Wall of
Fame. We have some members of the Patterson clan remembered
though.
Sport at Mana is still going strong with Rugby, Volleyball, Basketball and Waka Ama leading the way. Football is represented by a boys first team playing Norther Div 1 on Tuesdays, a girls team playing Northern Div 2 on Weds, and a mixed staff/student/ex student team playing Capital 13 as Porirua City Mana. (I manage them all poor sod!).
