Try watching the original, the boat journey on the choclate river, after inhaling mind altering substances, quite a trip - I've been told.

I quite like the new version.  Johnny Depp is quite creepy, as he always is, but I like him.  Love the squirrels.

I like the boat best in the original and Gene Wilder's googly eyes but do also like the new version and have to admit its the first movie ever where I didn't drool over Johnny Depp cause he's jst odd in it

Gene Wilder's song on the boat journey was quite creepy too.
