I just happen to be in Paris for a couple of weeks (for work
actually, not here for the rugby - just as well - side note, the
French have been very gracious in victory) and happened to come
across a 42 Below/Air NZ/NZ Trade Commission promotion bringing NZ
bands, food, wine and of course 42 Below to Paris during the RWC.
Last week the Black Seeds played (bugger, missed them) but
last night went to see Hollie Smith play at the Iguana Bar near the
Bastille. Very cool gig, lots of kiwis there, had a great
time.
Anyway, got chatting to the 42 Below rep and asked who else
was coming so she gave me the schedule and sure enough Che Fu was
down to play tonight so said i'd be in for that execpt the rep said
he had cancelled.
I asked why and she told me he was mainly coming for the rugby
and now that the AB's were out he had cancelled.
What a w*nker!

exactly the same response as Trevor Mallard
so much for public duty coming ahead of perks, not that i'd call watching the all blacks a perk

Doesn't show a whole lot of loyalty to the fans who indirectly put
his name on that free ticket.

His sort of music is crap any way, no great loss. As for Mallard,
the Minister for Everything, he's just an Egg at best anyway.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I think Trevor Mallard's father died recently which would explain
his non-attendance.
