I'm not sure if there is a Twenty20 league at the moment but I'm sure there was talk of it. It would be fairly easy to set up a YF club to play social stuff. If the Cove lads and lasses can start a football club...

If you needed players during Nov - End of Jan/Early Feb I'd be able to play on Phoenix home weekends.

Should add that there are heaps of clubs and all will he happy to accomodate new players. Bugger starting a new club, if you're lazy just get 11 people and sign up to an existing club say Karori and form a team called Karori Yellow Fever or some such.

WCC has been approached to run cricket 6's- 6 players each bowls and bats one over each-game is over in 60 minutes

first tournament is set to run anniversarry weekend

6's, 60 minutes? Labour weekend! I'm THERE! Might have to put my own team in though, but if YF needs me i'll happily answer the call! BOP man consider me your first non travelling reserve. IE if your short call me, but I couldn't commit, I need to slow down this summer, things have been hectic all year!!!

i canae speak for BoPman and the Saturday thing but Cricket Sixes is looking likely- talking with organiser about how we support them- very much seenas a trial fore bigger and brighter things in the future- stay tuned.....should know around mid-late November
