Right who's into The Contender??
Looks like there's some good fighters within the bunch this season really enjoyed last nights fight between Sakio Bika and Donny McRary, man did that donny have a strong chin or what, landed some good punches on bika but really lacked the stamina to see the fight through, big ups to him for not going down in the 5th round though after some devastating combos from Bika!!
Next week I'm predicting a win to Paul Smith, just something about him lol seems like a bit of a nutter! That and a 24-0 record!! Banks is too cocky and any boxer that is worried about his face getting messed up isn't a true fighter!!
For the whole tournament I would really like to see Sam Soliman win, when they were saying he was an "awkward" fighter, I didn't really know what they meant until I saw him fight, the guy throws punches from absolutely everyone and is a fitness machine! Really keeps good pressure on an opponent and doesn't back down at all.
Looking forward to the rest of the competition!

Yeah well the 5 round only format is great and especially the power
ranking meaning you need to get lots of points or a KO means
everyone just goes for it!

Yeah the Contender has been good fun so far, I thought Solimon was
a bit lucky in his bout, I thought the other geezer was too
defensive and should have thrown a few more punches but he is
definitely an awkward fighter. That dude in the yellow last night,
put up a really strong fight, I felt sorry for him. Although the
contender is good, I am preferring watching UFC the Comeback on sky
1 8 30-9 30 directly before the contender, I enjoy watching the MMA
bouts.
