Cook Strait ferries.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Whisper is that the crew's union is unhappy with the new owner's (that's us) plans and are grumbling about "industrial action".

This particular grumble came out of yesterday's stop work meeting. KiwiRail haven't even got their feet under the table yet, and the bloke I was listening to was saying. of KiwiRail,  "they're out to get us already".

That's what I thought. I butted in , and got an earful, but not before saying to him , and his mate, that  if they did it might be a PR disaster for them. (I was thinking cliches like "industrial dinosaurs".) dairyflat2008-10-14 22:05:13

Could come across as trying to weasel the best out of the election situation, get the parties bidding against each other

I can hear it now "John Key, will the National Party sell Kiwi rail if they get elected?" or
HC stating "we are committed to..."

They usually do this sort of action just as the school holidays start, just to piss everyone off.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!
