Rudd stands down so it doesn't go to a vote! Pretty big fall from grace for him.

I was in Aus for their last election and I remember hearing two 'good aussie blokes' talking about having a Woman as Deputy PM, they weren't complimentary shall we say.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Yeah, not a pretty move by Rudd but good on Gillard for having the stones to jump in there! Who knows how this is gonna go for them...isn't an election coming their way anyway??

Australia get knocked out of the World Cup and have a woman take over the reins of PM within a day. My heart bleeds for them. How's that for a bitter pill to swallow.
