Anyone going?

It's going to be huge!

I'm looking forward to seeing the Ruby Suns, the Tutts and the parades...

YIKES!

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Glad I entertained you ha ha. Best work do ever - half of us in the parade causing mischief, then back to the restaurant to party until 2am, with live music and delicious food.

Gutted I missed the rest of the carnival (would have loved to see Alymayu again if they were/are back here), but no regrets about missing it for the first hockey test between NZ and India. Great match.

Yup, that was an awesome night.

Best festival in NZ ... Courtenay Pl should be a pedestrian zone every Saturday night ...
