Didn't even realise Daniel had bought out a book but alas there it is when i go to Whitcoulls today. Only read the forward so far, written by Jeremey Wells (newsboy), has to be one of the funniest things i have ever read

Ta.  Will check it out.

NZ Cricket, and you want a laugh: 'Christmas in Rarotonga' by John Wright.

NZ Cricket, and you want to read dribble: anything published during the mid-90s by the "Young Guns."

Adam Parore and Chris Cairns both wrote excellent books, Flemings had some interesting chapters. Astle not so much. Some interesting stuff might come out of the last 4 or 5 years, would love to read something candid from Bondy or Lou Vincent

Chris Cairns didn't write his biography. Hamish McDouall did. Hamish has a cricket blog on Stuff - http://www.stuff.co.nz/blogs/googlies.

Very intelligent, articulate and interesting to talk to. He was living at Knox College completing the Knox register or something when I was living there.

And yeah, read about Vettori's book on Stuff today. I think there was an excerpt from it. It looks quite good actually.

I'd just like to point out the book was written by Richard Boock, not DLV...

Finished it today, seems like they forgot to edit it to me. Few mistakes and a lot of things talked about twice. But one of the better NZ sport bios i've read in a while, honest and frank which is always good.

Would make sense seeing it's a biography rather than an autobiography...

Not everyone knows the difference, so wanted to be pedantic.
