Question for my fever colleagues. If I say, I don't trust John Key to a national supporting mate. He replies, I don't trust any of them.
Does or should that response impact my initial statement?

I guess they only thing I see in his statement is that for him "trust" is not a factor in his decision as he doesn't trust any of them. Don't think it impacts your statement, but him stating that for himself trust isn't a factor I guess.
Does anyone trust politicians? Personally, i wouldnt piss on one if the were on fire. How many times have we seen them flip flop on decisions especially around election time. Right Honourable and Politician. It's hard to keep a straight face when you refer to one as the right honourable ........ knowling full well that's a load of bollox.

I know that politicians are sneaky and smooshy by nature by I would hope that this doesn't slip into being corrupt. Trust is a factor for me.

what worries me about the "not trusting any of them" comment is that we let these people run our country and make decisions for us - yet we wouldn't welcome most of them into our homes for a beer.
the whole dot com thing detracted from the actual politics which hurt not only Hone, but the left in general. Key has gotten away with lying to and misleading the NZ public with his "I wasn't told about that" responses because the left couldn't get themselves organised.

New Zealanders are swing voters huh? Generally vote on a personality as opposed to a belief or value. This means as John Key comes across as a good guy he can do whatever he wants.
Looks like Labour are about to offer up a new leader in Robertson.
