I'm looking to get a pool put in next year, but I'm not sure of how much work is involved in its upkeep. I have a smallish yard so my pool would be 15x35, and 3-5 ft deep.
But is there anyone here that thinks getting a pool was a bad decision? Also, what is the estimated monthly maintenance costs?
If you have kids then it will get used a fair bit. I had a pool for years and as my children got older and left home we hardly used it.
The problem was that you need you clean it often( leaves etc) and the running costs are not cheap. The swimming season is too short as as it will be too cold to swim until about November at earliest and March at the latest.
If you have kids I hope you don't mind having half the kids in the neighbourhood around at your place all the time.
nope I am not so rich and it's too much time to maintain it
