National should win with relative ease

Phil Goff is one of the most braindead MP's out, was listening to him on Newstalk ZB this morning and he struggled to nearly answer every question and all he could say was "i'll make a better New Zealand." and "I believe I can win this election"

He'll be rolled as Labour leader on 27 or 28 Nov.

What I was meaning was he had no genuine answer to the questions he was being asked, just the same thing over and over again.

Is this the most boring NZ election ever?

Italy has Bunga Bunga - we have a tea party.

I think Italy is done with all the Bunga Bunga.

Their new PM looks more like an accountant than a play boy.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

John Key has to say something rather than just turn up at a rugby game.....

Nek Minute........

Prime Minister Phil Goff

(I'd just like to add that I do not usually use the saying "nek minute" but I thought this was a worthy cause. )

We should get a worm for Phoenix matches.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

That would be permanently flat-lined.

I wonder if he has a head for local politics.

Crazy that after 27 years of FAILED neoliberal policies in NZ, and in other nations, the unthinking will still go and vote for more of the same...

Love that (Extremely conservative) John Banks is now leader of the (supposedly liberal) ACT Party. Loltastic.

It would be better to have a referendum on extending the term of government to 4 or 5 years instead of the ridiculously short 3 year term which just creates unnecessary expense.

(plus we wouldn't have to see all the ridiculous clowning around at traffic lights and street corners so often)

If the NZ Greens are anything like their Aussie counterparts--- look out NZ and god help you.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Greens have worked pretty comfortably with National in the last term on mutual issues, so i'm guessing they aren't as rabid as your lot.

Weeeel, they had a MOU about insulation. Which effectively was a marketing tool for the Nats who have a shocking record on the environment.

But if you read the Nats and Greens policies and listen to what they say they are fairly much diametrically opposed.

This Green lot is attempting to wear suits and get middle class votes, without the social activism that has been important to them in the past.

I think Green politics should be a mainstream choice in a country whose economy is so dependant on the environment! Been saying this for years.martinb2011-11-27 02:00:47

Gotta love that Colin Craig seems to have more respect for the ACT party principles than its leader and only MP. After Banks indicates that he wants to merge with the CCCP, Craig says
"I think the issue here is the ACT party are slightly schizophrenic at the moment. You've got John Banks who is at heart a conservative, then you've got a party who is at heart libertarian."

Brilliant. ACT is f**ked, and its their own fault.
