I'm sure a lot of you will know about the Entertainment Book - for those who don't it is a book of discount coupons mainly for restaurants and cafs but also some for travel, accommodation and leisure discounts as well. It is valid for a year and costs about $50. You have to use it about twice to "break even" - if you go out a bit it really is a great buy that pays for itself very quickly.

It is sold mainly by schools as a fund raising activity so you are also helping your local school when you buy a book. Find out more at; http://www.entertainmentbook.com.au/home

The reason for mentioning it in this forum is the Nix are in it this year, the coupons are; buy a seat get a seat free or 50% off a family pass, and buy a Nix item and get a free item up to the same value.

These are brilliant coupons - have a look at the book (http://www.entertainmentbook.com.au/home) if you don't already get one.

if it says buy one get one free same value or less there going to be screwed if they didnt inteend it for this seasons gear since most people will assume its for any product.

You're right - looking at the fine print missed the big print.

Good deal though - spend over $50 and get up to $50 off the cost of any other item.

Plus the buy a ticket and get another ticket free coupon - great value.

The vouchers in the Entertainment Book work !!!

Went to Ticketek at the St James today armed with a handful of vouchers and cash (work group going on Sunday) - a very helpful young man processed the order, including all the vouchers, in next to no time.

If you want to use your vouchers, and you're close enough, go to Ticketek at the St James.

They are great if you remember to use them.

Using it, I got about $150 off my hotel for my trip to Nix Melbourne on the cheapest rate I could find elsewhere. Even if you only use the Macdonalds, Domino's etc. you still get you money back.

I'm slightly disappointed!

BUMP!

Hey, I know I may have left my run a little late here but does anyone have a current copy of this?

Bringing the kids down to Wellington this weekend and was hoping to take them to the zoo. But as they are only 16 months old I am not sure if they will last the distance before having a strop or falling asleep.

From memory the Zoo has a 2 for 1 in the book which would be handy as I don't fancy paying nearly $50 for my lady and I to take the kids there if we are only going to get a short visit out of it!

Sorry, I would but I don't get the actual book anymore. Only got the app which is great as means always have it with me but you do lose that ability to give away the vouchers you don't use.

didn't realise they had an app. Might look into that. Never got one before as I'd tend to do them at last minute so figured I'd never have the book on me. If it's on phone then problem solved.

Yeah its why they brought it out, it's brilliant on the phone because you can find yourself out somewhere and just look on it to see if they are in the "book". Found we ended up using it much more than how many coupons we used in the actual book
