Its already doing quite well out that way, hearing of plenty of people coming away with 10 fish each after a couple of hours. Mostly kahawai, spiny dogs, red cod.

Maybe 2 1/2 hours one evening? I caught probably half a dozen smaller blue cod too which went back. I think berley is the secret when fishing off the rocks. Cant wait until summer when the snapper start showing up

Seen this thread, I'm looking at hiring a charter for a stag do and wondered if you guys could suggest anyone? Looked at Pete Lamb (as they had been on the Treat Me website recently) but they are away the weekend of the stag do.

I'm an optimistic pessimist. 
I'm positive things will go wrong.

I was going to say Pete Lamb - have been out on his launch and its all good. Don't have any experience with other charters unfortunately

Thanks for that, yes had heard good things about him. Just unfortunate that they are in the sounds that weekend.

There are a couple that operate out of the Seaview Marina. I know nothing about them other than that they operate out of the Seaview Marina!

Actually that gave me an idea and found another one based out there and have contacted them. (Cook Strait Fishing). Thanks
