Good movie for its day. Got it on DVD. I question whether the bombers would scatter like that. The fighters would pick them off 1 by 1. Better to stick to a tight formation, defensively more sound.
Saw Tron 3D last night. Feckin brilliant. sometimes i'm amazed at how film making has progressed over the last 50 years. astonishing.
Yep, saw that when it first came out, very good film. I saw "The Big Lebowski" the other night. The dude was good!
If you like your Lebowski... check this - only in America!

A mate gave me a 10 disc box set of the Star Trek movies. I have never been a Star Trek fan but I did enjoy the new movie that came out a few years ago, anyway, I watched The Wrath Of Khan which featured a very young and SKINNY Kirstie Alley. Apparently it was her first film role.
Watched Capricorn 1 from 1977. Movie about a hoax mars moon landing. Pretty sweet movie for its time.
Anyone else seen Moon? thats a pretty sweet movie too, creepy in an understated claustrophobic way,,,
brilliant movie-making
Winter's Bone - gritty and gets right into your head
That movie makes wet weeks look exciting.
Hailee Steinfeld should've got a Oscar nomination for True Grit.

Has anyone here seen a Serbian Film?
I could barely watch the trailer, let alone the film
I once spent a boring Saturday afternoon on the couch watching Lethal Wepon 1, 2 and 3 in a row - it was the best day of my life, above my wedding day and the day I was born.
BoB as has been mentioned previously. This scene @1:50 quite memorable.

Watched The Kite Runner the night before last. Really good film.
Watch out for 127 hours. The story of Aron Ralston's fight for survival in Blue John Canyon.
I read the book " Between a rock and a hard place".
I also remember seeing an interview he did with Tom Brokaw.
I see this is on youtube.

Agree! aA good sequal and fitting to the original. I know not everyones cup of tea but I liked the concepts of Tron and it's follow up. Brilliant how they made Jeff bridges young again. and good to see Brice B in it as well.
The blonde and the brunette were worth the entrance fee alone!
Made in Dagenham.
In the last week I have watched Max and Mary (very good) and Buried (good). Recently I have also enjoyed the pleasures of Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Dr Strangelove (or how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb), Young Frankenstein and Iron Man 2 (which was actually pretty average).
Still trying to get round to watching Milk (been on my Sky+ box for about 6 months now).
edit: oh, for some strange reason I want to see the kings speech - not normally my kind of film (doesn't have Leslie Nelsen or any nob gags in it) but I am strangely drawn.

Words cannot express how much I hate Colin Firth
Just watched "Deathproof" and it was quite good. Some scenes in the car chase looked like they were filmed in NZ especially with some of the road signs, but in the credits it said it was filmed in Texas. Unless Quentin put them in there deliberately for Zoe.
Watched The Man Who Sued God a few days ago. A relevant Aussie film starring that Aussie icon, Billy Conolley.

The Dude Abides!
I don't recommend watching Sweeney Todd (though it's great) followed by Sleepy Hollow late at night.
I watched the Limits of Control Last night:

Not sure if i'd recommend it 100%, but it is very slcik, stylish and clever- Bill Murray makes a cameo at the end and there is a very nice lady's bottom in it, so thats nice.
Jim Jarmusch is a smart director, I liked Dead Man and Ghost Dog- this is similiar to Ghost Dog in some ways

Maybe she should have made it a Salad Roll!
Animal Kingdom.
That movie is intense!
Ending was a bit meh though?

Sherlock Holmes is great. Recommend.

Yeah that's quality.
Except seeing the main actors backside. Sam Rockwell I believe is the fellow. One of the more revolting backsides I've seen. Horrible.
He's in Conviction which is a good watch.
He's in Conviction which is a good watch.
Speaking of backsides and good movies for their time, I would recommend Deliverance. Made in 1970/71 I think but not dated in anyway and great story. Young Burt Reynolds and Jon Voight.
I realize it's been mentioned but Harry Brown. Just watched it with my brother. Michael Caine was immense. Quality movie. Complete lack of respect in those kids makes you want to go down and sort them out but Michael Caine does it for you. Quality.
Got round to seeing Gomorrah, was pretty good. As everyone writes gritty as hell and a good film on five different stories and character development. Kind of like if Crash was a doco on a Napoli mafia.
The Fighter is very good. Great performances and the whole thing kept me hooked (no pun intended) from start to finish. Steve-O2011-01-22 00:23:55
The King's speech is really really good, fantastic acting by Geffory Rush!

Just saw the press conference for the Hobbit.
I don't think I'll be able to look at Bilbo Baggins without thinking of The Office.

I haven't seen it. Refuse to. But my mates did and gave me a full run down. I honestly question how any film could be worse than this. Rape - and gay rape and that! incest, new-born porn. F**king filth. Serbia would be very disappointed that the title associates this film with the entire country. Btw, my friends said it was actually well done and had a plot.
Whoah, that film sounds nuts!
