On the hunt for an all round fishing package (rod + reel combo) to be used mostly for surfcasting and rock fishing, but occassionally fishing from a boat.

Dont particularly want to spend mega bucks either. Recommendations please!

Warewhare has an $89 rig at the mo that comes with some tackle and a tackle box. Was looking at one on Thursday whilst picking up a $20 rod for Micki.

Don’t buy cheap if you want it to last and not let you down. Unless you might only use it a few times a year, in that case a warehouse set up with good maintenance is an option
