Hey all - I've got bit of an emergency 
I'm due to move out of my hall of residence in a week, and the flat I'd been scheduled to move into is no longer suitable - the lease holder has changed the lease agreement in an attempt to have me pay more than initially agreed upon, and is refusing to refund my deposit. It's pure extortion and theft, and we're pursuing legal action.
I've now got a week left on my hall contract with another person moving into my room on the weekend. If anyone is looking for a flatmate or knows someone who needs one, please PM me or send an e-mail to robertogialloneri@gmail.com. I go to Massey so somewhere near the Mount Cook campus is preferable, but needless to say I'm happy to live anywhere within Wellington (Porirua/The Hutt might be too much of a reach).
I'll be looking on Trademe and such, but thought I'd shout out on here as well since the short time frame means I have little choice in flatmate preference, however my first choice will, naturally, be those who cheer on the Phoenix.

Cheers guys. Looking like there's not much we can do legally unfortunately. Just going to have to cut my losses and move on. 
Unfortunately that means I'll be homeless on Saturday, but luckily I've got a few friends letting me crash with them - including a couple Feverites who've PM'ed me. It'll buy me some time to find a more long term arrangement at least.

I got a flat this morning, so PROBLEM SOLVED 
I want to thank everyone for their support. Especially Bevan, Critical_Lemon and Lonegunman who've offered me temporary accomodation and/or storage, to GI_Joe for his tip off (a shame someone else snapped me up before his flat did!) and to smarah who, in addition to offering temporary and/or part time accomodation, has been a massive help to morale by making sure I had one of my best friends around to keep my spirits up.
As for the former friends who screwed me over - I'll let karma sort them out, I'm better off without them in my life. And hey, neither of them supported the Phoenix anyway
