Best concert I've ever been too, and I've been to a few, including U2 and Rock2Wgtn.

Dave Grohl is just a legend.

Anyone else go?

was brilliant me and 6 others went up from welly for it, bit dissapointed with the middle acoustic bit though, if you were near the main stage it was hard to hear

What was Grohl's Probot project like? I hear he had Cronos from Venom on it for one track: which does give him legend status I guess (by association).

Yep I went and as I'm a huge U2 fan, I just can't bring myself to say it was better than them but man, it was way up there. Dave Grohl is the man. I absolutely loved the whole show. The acoustic set ended up being right in front of us. I couldn't believe more people didn't merge around the circle when the arena was filling up. It was obvious the band would play there at some stage. Got home and put on my Hyde Park dvd to relive it. Only disappointment was that they did the acoustic version of Everlong. Thats my favourite Foo's song and I wanted to hear it in all its rock glory.
