Does anyone want a match ticket from the game in Bahrain?  I still have it at home (haven't cleaned that area yet) and don't collect things like that.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

I don't have much sadly.

I have two Kingz footballs that i won in penalty shootouts that were signed by the whole team (can't remember the seasons, the early days though).

I also have a Kingz shirt (the one with the silver down the side) signed by the whole team.

I have a few scarves hanging round, Arsenal, Auckland City, England. I lost my All Whites one unfortunately.

Have a number of shirts including my 03 All Whites shirt which i still wear today, a number of Arsenal ones (seem to have lost my special 06 maroon shirt though), and also a France 82 WC shirt and vintage 80s Barca shirt that my dad got when doing swap deals with fans he met back in the day.

Have a ton of Kingz and Knights programmes. Also have a 1984 FA Cup Final programme and a Tottenham v Man Utd 1st Div programme from the 80s. Also have a copy of Sitter! around somewhere (HN should remember this).

That's about it. Wish i had more. Sadly i don't.

Three for me, and two for them.

I would hope you still had your ticket from last Saturday taking pride of place somewhere, Buff.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Oh but of course. All scrumpled and with a slight smell of beer to accompany it. Ahh, the memories...

Three for me, and two for them.

I've got shedloads of s**t, loads of Scottish stuff including 18 Partick Thistle shirts!  I've still got the Scotland shirt I wore to the 82 World Cup! Sadly, the last time I tried it on it seems to have shrunk a lot

Also some European footie shirts, some Kingz and Knights stuff and some Phoenix bits and bobs.

I have a collection of Arsenal home and away shirts dating back to 1984. Most with names and numbers on. Not match worn.

Knights Duruz 3 match worn home shirt
Knights Van Eijs 17 match worn away shirt

Phoenix Richard Johnson match worn shirt from the trademe charity auction last year.

09/10 Phoenix away shirt accidentally signed by Ricki Herbert (long story)

Adshead & Fallon book on the 82 World Cup signed on the front by Ricki Herbert and inside by Wynton Rufer

Can't compete with Stefan's collection. Top effort. Well impressed.

Not true.
Plus.. Match worn stuff is of more importance and value. And the Sydney stuff for me is of sentimental value.
And only a few of my things are match worn. And then, only some are paid for.

So sue me. Its what real collecting is about for me. Finding the best things.Stefan2009-11-20 22:10:32

A) It wasn't modding, it was a post.
B) It affects the the readability of you have to scroll through two screen lengths to get to the actual post.

How much would you pay for a signed Phoenix ball with all the players on it, 4 tickets to the next home game & a Nix scarf?  A collegue was at a fundraising auction at his daughter's school recently.  The above was up for auction.  Apparently it took a long time to get up to $180.  Eventually someone bid $200 & that was that.  Obviously no Nix fans in the crowd otherwise it would've gone higher & quickly. Personally I would have gone just over 200 for that. But I'm pretty strapped for cash at the moment.
Permalink Permalink
over 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Hmmm.. to be fair, $200 would be my limit..
Permalink Permalink
over 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Then you have the cost of building the shrine to hold the ball.

Permalink Permalink
over 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Exactly. Thats $200 for all of that plus the glass case and stand for the case and ball. You are looking at a lot of dough
