Im wondering what kind of Football Memorabilia collection people have?
Things like Match Programs, socks or whatever?

I myself collect playing kits, preferably match worn and mainly A-league and old NSL. But have english, european and New Zealand things too.

Im just curious as what other people collect and have. And if people actually set out to find certain items too.

Not enough Bandwidth.

Hence why I haven't posted mine..
Or the amount spent on collecting.

To be honest, I don't get people who buy things that are already signed by players.  Have the fun is stalking players and getting them signed yourself.

I set out on collecting every A-League teams scarves. But that didn't end up well. And my new project is to try and get everyone from the All Whites club shirts. Might end up with quite a few Phoenix shirts !

OK, I'll start go clock wise around my room from the door.

 

I succeed in the scarf department. I picked up a few of them from rebel in Sydney for $5. A few from the A-league online store and others from shops.

Thats a very impressive wall, my wall is poor at the moment, just two Retro Rickis, and two Phoenix tops. Hoping the summer break which features both my birthday and Christmas will see my football memorabillia soar.

Where would be the ideal place to get shirts with official name and numbers on them from clubs such as Plymouth and West Brom ?

Rather large, I'm nearly out of space though.

I was wondering like Simon where the best place to buy MLS gear from is?

Nix Home shirt for 09 season - Non sony, sony and non sony away. Nix home and away shorts, Nix socks. Nix training shirts.
Current Phoenix player jacket.
Around 10 pairs of Knights match worn shorts.
Mariners shorts - Number 10, Adrian Caceras
Newcastle Jets shirt
Queensland Roar shirt.
Sydney Socks, home and away, various sydney shorts.
Perth Home socks
Knights away socks
Gold coast home shorts.
Knights numbered training jerseys

And probably the best things I have.

2007 A-league Grand Final, match worn Aloisi Adelaide shirt. and another non- numbered, awaiting prtining.

There are things missing, sadly.

Ebay is an awesome place

Only a few of the things I have bought were bought signed.
I have sent things away, and am going to try to get to away teams trainings when they get here to get them signed.

Its a bit sad buying all these things, but its fun. I like it.
Its the thrill of the chase for me.

Might have to have a look on Ebay, Smeltz shirt at Gold Coast would be nice.

Yeah, but I manage to get them pretty cheap, as the demand isn't so High.

I forgot about other stuff, Phoenix poster and flag.

They did STAND UP ones and the Match ones, but nothing decent.

Only posters are match posters

I think I'll go and get one over the next week or two then.

So Stefan, which do you grab in case of fire? Not that I would ever hope that happens. I feel for your mum though, keeping the dust off those items must be a full time occupation.

Lol. They are all on coat hangers on pins, so if there was a fire I could rush around and grab everything.

The FFA do framed football shirts and signed prints and things like that only for Grand Final Winners. (Except Newcastle?) I have a Champions scarf from their win but thats all I think that they had, maybe a cap?

Melbourne do the most, caps, framed shirts, signed photos. So good.
Wish the Nix would..

A bit disappointed there is no 09/10 Nix season pin. Got last year's when we started following the team, would like to have had a collection of them throughout the years

$5 a pin, easy.

But those are just the straight nix pins aren't they? Not with the 2009/10 date at the bottom.

If they are available let me know where - not in the shop (I've arksed)

- Phoenix poster signed by everyone in the original squad including George!
- A page showing pics of the Knights players with all the stats below it and signed by all the players.
- Wellington Phoenix Cup.
- Wellington Phoenix scarf.
- All White On The Night tee-shirt.
- One Shot For Glory badge.
- Retro-Ricki signed by all of the Phoenix squad from season two except Smeltz and Ferrante - I was dumb enough to get John Kosmina to sign it but am now happy he did as he played for Arsenal (once, hilarious) and he's a douchebag.
- Many newspaper clippings from our victory over Bahrain that I shall keep long into the future.
- Wellington Phoenix cap signed by Costa, Felipe, and Juninho.
- Corinthian dolls of Patrick Kluivert and Sol Campbell.
- Wellington Phoenix shirt signed by Ricki Herbert.
- Autograph sheet from the All Whites vs Malaysia match with signatures from Andy Barron, Jeremy Brockie, Ricki Herbert, and Danny Hay.
- Programme of the Phoenix vs Mainland signed by Shane Smeltz
- Pictures with all the All White players and management who were at the parade after the Bahrain game.

I probably value the last one the most.  Have already backed up those photos in two places to make sure I never lose them.
