hey

anyone know of a pitch in christchurch that still has goals (or a goal) with nets?

have been going for a kick round recently at qe2 and thers no nets....quite annoying

Could try English Park on Cranford Street.  Even if the nets are down (which they could well be) the goal is good and there are advertising boards behind it that your shots could bounce back off.

Note:  Not 100% sure if it's open to the public but no harm in trying.

theres that park down Grimseys Rd (off qe2 drive) in redwood that has it's goal posts up all year - sorry forget it's name  and it also has a flying fox at the front if you want a break from football or tokeep the kids entertained while you are having a kick-round.

Doubt you will find them even in winter they are hard enough to find, just buy your own.
