Most people go to Ask jeeves or google- ill ask the forum!

I have an event coming up, lets just say fo now that this is a rather big event-10,000+ participants.

The first communiation to past participants asks them to put the date in their calendar. I was thinking it would be more effective if I actually set up a calendar reminder for them with all the key details etc.

Does anyone know how I can do this without actually inviting 10,000 people to a meeting? Has anyone ever doen it before? I seem to remember an application at the 2010 world cup which allowed you to set reminders for games- help please!

Have you tried making something with Google Calendar? Are you trying to make a calendar style list of events that people can just click on and have it import to their calendars? I'm not too sure because I have never used it for anything like this but I think it can synchronise with the major programs like outlook and stuff.

At any rate, it's a powerful free calendar hosted by google, may as well have a look!
